The DSP Firearms Training Unit will conduct LEOSA firearms qualification(s) on the below dates.
Mail completed forms, along with a check payable to DSP in the amount of $20.00 to:
First time/initial application, please call Leeah Christine 302-672-5385
to make an appointment for the fingerprinting and photograph.
Complete the below initial application and bring with you to your appointment.
You may also submit your fingerprints at Troop 2.
If you elect fingerprinting at Troop 2 it is by appointment only, call 302.672.5304.

The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) was signed into law on July 22, 2004, by
President George W. Bush and codified as 18 U.S.C. ยงยง 926B & C, LEOSA was intended to
afford qualified active (QLEO) and qualified retired law enforcement officers (QRLEO)
the privilege of carrying a concealed firearm in all 50 states, the District of Columbia,
the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and all other U.S. possessions (except the Canal Zone)
notwithstanding any other provision of the law of any state or political subdivision thereof.

For a renewal of a State of DE CCDW permit (This is NOT for the Federal HR 218 permit)

Fill out the downloaded form and include the statutory filing fee of $65.00.
Cash, money order or personal check, made payable to "PROTHONOTARY" will be accepted.
Include Two passport photos and have the form notarized.
